Commentary: Vocal 130
Yet another one of those hybrid arrangements, now it focuses on Kanako's personal and stage themes, Suwa Foughten Field and Grave of Being, respectively. And well, whaddaya know, the vocalist IS Kanako herself *well this is just an alias, I figure* and for an aged god, she sings just like a maiden. Such majestic entrance and the succeeding lines have been pulled off like there was no tangle in the line. SJV-SC didn't overdo the music; I think it...sort of...fits Kanako's status and personality perfectly. I didn't like the first SJV-SC album that I saw; that was arete, C75 release maybe because there wasn't enough exposure to doujin music but now, I can already see what they did on arete. Hopefully their C76 album, Best Wishes will be a stepping stone for great advancement. Labels: Commentary, Touhou Project |
