Commentary: Vocal 113
Illusionary Sputnik Night. I've been through Seihou Shuusou Gyoku and Kioh Gyoku, but I'm never familiar of how they really sound. Good thing ZUN resurrected one of his original works in Seihou and uses it in another fantastic material, the Grimoire of Marisa. The background sound really reminds me of the first days of video gaming; it has that 8-bit-ish modernistic chiptune sound, typical on games from the '80s or '90s. Plus the vocals, it really sounds like a loli singing. Gotta love those kind of vocalists. It's like two stones, the past and the present, bashed together to form something new that's distinctive and really brings out the best of both worlds. Enjoy the 113th feature, yet again by Iemitsu. Their Re-albums really are stuffed with nice vocals. Oh and I just found out that there's another two Re- albums released at Kouroumu5, Re4-K- (Shou & Byakuren in the cover) and Re5-W- (Patchouli & Koakuma in the cover). Re4 contains another version of Night Lights so I edited it so as to prevent future confusion. Labels: Commentary, Touhou Project |
