s.a.h. 86 : Solo Boss Hunting: Cirno Style! Part 4
Wow, what a busy holiday. Really. Shop here, shop there, shop everywhere, and then you forget everything you have to do. Sucks. X_X

2008 is drawing to a close. And tonight, it's time to say our hellos to the year ahead.

2009. The year of the OX.

I wonder what will happen this year?

Anyways, let's get it on. Solo Boss Hunting! Cirno style! Part Four!

Subject #4
Osiris
HP: 415400
Lv 78
Undead 4 / Medium / Undead
95% Flee: 239
100% Hit: 173
ATK: 780-2880
Def/Mdef: 10/25

Notable Skills:
Meteor Assault, Venom Dust, Increase AGI, Power Up, Quagmire, Bash, Stone Curse

Mobs:
Isis, Ancient Mummy

Before I start the commentary, I'd like you to see my equipment window:
I bet you cannot see it clearly.
Click it, dude.

And with that, I start my commentary.

Notes:
Osiris' walk speed is a killer. It's faster than the normal walk speed of a Knight / Crusader. Match his speed using Authoritative Badge and lure Osiris near a portal. There are four portals to choose from; just pick one. It will be the key for your survival.

Just hit 'em with everything you've got, but be warned, if you want to survive a long match with Osiris, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT ELIMINATE ALL of the ISIS (Osiris mob). It will turn to Ancient Mummies, which basically, deals more damage than two or three Isis.

If ever the Stone Curse works on you, run to the portal near you. Every ounce of HP is vital so as not to deplete your SP recovery items.

Osiris' ever deadly Meteor Assault is it's trump card. Run to the portal to dodge the assault. It's the only way you could prevent Osiris from damaging you. You'll need this strategy when you provoke this boss into using Power Up because a single hit of the Assassin Cross skill will kill @ 35000 HP or below. Powerful. Blah.

Now for the final part.

Osiris uses Increase AGI. It does not give +3~12 AGI, but it increases the MVPs agility / Flee EXPONENTIALLY.

Basically, OSIRIS WILL BE HARD TO HIT.

Remember the equipment you viewed a while ago?

Morrigane's Helm
  • A helm that was once owned by Morrigane, the goddess of war. LUK + 2. ATK + 3.
Morrigane's Manteau
  • A manteau made from gray crow feathers that were enchanted through the power of Morrigane, whose incarnation is the gray crow. LUK + 2, Perfect Dodge + 8.
Morrigane's Belt
  • The belt that Morrigane kept as a memento of CuChulain after he perished in battle.
    ATK + 5, Critical Attack Rate + 3.
Morrigane's Pendant
  • The pendant that ChuChulain gave to Morrigane when they were both still in love. It's symoblic of her endless devotion, as she stood by his side even after he had abandoned her.
    STR + 2, Critical Attack Rate + 3.
Yes, the Morrigane's Armor Set. The CRIT set. Here's the full effect.
STR + 2, LUK + 9, Critical Rate + 13, ATK + 18, Perfect Dodge + 13
Now for the weapon.

Assaulter's Katzbalger (Valor Type)

CRI + 20.Increases physical attack against Demi human monster by 55%. Increases critical damage by 20%. Indestructible (except in upgrade attempts).

And oh, don't forget the Fire Converter / Aspersio. The undead are weak against fire* and holy.

Now to destroy Osiris, you need to adopt the hit-and-run combat technique. You hit 'em hard, and when he tries to retaliate with a deadly skill, RUN FOR IT.

It's that easy.

Once Osiris has been taken out, head to the bowels of the nearby Sphinx for the Royal MVP, the Pharaoh!

Solo Boss Hunting: Cirno Style! Part 5 (Pharaoh).

Let's watch the sparks fly!
